Install and update

Download

The installers are in the download section of the home page: a .dmg for Apple silicon or Intel Macs and a setup program for Windows. The steps for the first launch are listed there too.

Updates

Renviel looks for updates by itself and asks before installing one. If an agent is working at that moment, it tells you first. To look now, open Settings → About.

Settings → About also has the update channel. Stable is the default; Beta gets new versions first.

What changed in each version is in the release notes, and in the app under What's new in the profile menu.

Remove Renviel

On macOS, move Renviel from Applications to the Trash. On Windows, open Settings → Apps, find Renviel and choose Uninstall.

Your sessions, settings and account folders stay in the .renviel folder in your home folder. Delete that folder too if you want them gone. See Your data.
