Changes and undo

Before and after each turn, Renviel takes a snapshot of the session's folder. The snapshots are kept in Renviel's data folder, not in your project, and they never touch your own git history.

What changed

A turn's footer lists the files it changed, with the lines added and removed. Click a file to see its diff. The Changes panel shows everything the session has changed so far, and History lists each request with its own files.

Undo

Undo in a turn's footer, or /undo, puts the files back the way they were before that turn. If you have edited one of them since, Renviel tells you which and asks first. The agent hears about the undo in its next turn.

Extra folders you added to the session get snapshots too, and are undone with the rest.

Comments on a diff

Hover a line in a diff and click + to leave a comment. Add to message turns your comments into a message that names each file and line. You send it when you're ready.

A review by another account

Review in the Changes panel asks another account to read the session's changes. Its findings show up under the lines they are about. Pick the ones you agree with and add them to your message.
