• What's new, inside the app. The profile menu's What's new opens the release notes in a window of their own instead of the browser.
• Docks that slide. The right and bottom panels open and close with a short slide, like the sidebar.
• A plainer model picker. Every effort level is named under the slider, the top level warns that it uses much more of your plan's limits, and the extra icons are gone.
• Usage as meters. Claude Code's /usage answer shows each limit as a bar with its reset time instead of a paragraph.
• Tidier chrome. The composer shows the account as its provider's mark (the name on hover), the profile row has one chevron and no extra gear, the bug handle on the window's edge is gone (Report a bug is in the profile menu), and agent faces glow round.

• Visuals when you ask for them. Ask Claude Code or Codex for a chart, a diagram or something interactive and the agent now draws it right in the chat instead of describing it. If a reply comes back as text only, a "Show as a visual" button sits under it.
• Steps in plain words. The agent's steps read as sentences ("Searched the code for …", "Read main.rs", "Started a subagent") instead of tool names, file paths and raw input, in the chat and everywhere a running turn is shown. The exact command is still one click away.
• Quieter working line. It no longer says "Esc to stop" (Esc still stops).
• Notifications in the app's look. Toasts are a calm card with the colour only on the icon, not a red alert box.
• Settings controls fit their text. Buttons and selects in Settings are as wide as what they show.

Visuals in the chat

• Claude Code and Codex agents can now show live, interactive visuals right in the conversation: charts, diagrams, explorable explanations with sliders, small calculators.
• They take Renviel's look and follow the light or dark theme as you switch.
• Each visual has full screen, reload, open in browser and save as HTML.
• Visuals run isolated: no network, no access to the app or your files.

A quieter chat

• The line under an answer (model, time, tokens, files, undo) shows when you hover the message.
• While the agent works, the current step shows once, in the status pill.
• The message box's focus is a soft border in the theme's own colour; the usage button left the message box.
• An element picked in the browser is added as a small attachment instead of a page of text.

Fixes

• The menu-bar usage popover no longer looks greyed out when Renviel's theme differs from the system's.
• The notch island stays within the notch, so it no longer touches full-screen apps.

New colours

• Dark: the chat is #141414 and the sidebar #212121. Light: a white chat beside a toned sidebar.

Watching the agent work

• The working line is a small status pill: the account's mark in a spinning ring, the current step and the time.
• Tool steps shimmer while they run and tick when done; the steps line shows which tools were used and how long they took. An opened step has a copy button for its input.
• The plan card counts finished steps and marks each with a ring, a spinner or a check.
• Sources show a small mark for each site.
• A picture being made shows a canvas with its prompt and size until it is ready.

Compare

• Each side has a letter, the first to finish is marked, and time, tokens and cost sit in a footer.

See what the agent made

• Pictures a turn creates (SVG, PNG, JPG…) show as previews under the answer; click to open them.
• HTML pages the agent writes get an "Open in browser" card, and links to the agent's files in its answer now work.

A calmer chat

• Commands read in plain words ("Read package.json", "Ran the tests") instead of long shell lines; the exact command is one click away.
• The turn line under an answer is shorter: the token count with an icon (the split, cache share and price on hover) and Undo as an icon.
• The mode menu is titled "Mode".

Installing CLIs

• Installs show their stage, a percentage, the download size, the time left and the time so far, and say when they wait for another install.

Agents can do more

• Renviel tools for Claude Code and Codex turns: read your other sessions, leave a message for another session, propose memory notes and scheduled tasks. Nothing is sent, kept or scheduled without you.
• The agent's browser: an agent can open, read and use pages in the in-app browser. Other sites need your OK first.
• Pictures: with a Codex account signed in with ChatGPT, agents can make images. You're asked once per session. An image MCP server such as Higgsfield works too.
• Computer use (experimental, off by default): agents can work other apps, with your OK for each app.
• Simulators and devices: iOS simulators and Android devices in a panel, for you and, if you allow it, for agents.

Working with sessions

• Board view, side by side sessions, archive, and sessions with no project folder.
• Side questions (/btw) answered by the same account without touching the main thread.
• Subagent transcripts: open what a subagent was asked, did and answered.
• Window snapshots into a message, from the composer or a global shortcut.
• File viewers for PDF, images, audio, video, tables, Mermaid and notebooks.
• Dev servers from launch.json or package.json, started and stopped by you.

Git and reviews

• Pull-request inbox: review requests, your pull requests and this repository's, with the diff and checks.
• GitLab: merge requests, pipelines, review notes and issues through glab.

Renviel is in beta. From this release on, every release gets its own version number, starting at 0.0.1.

New

• Windows: the island now shows running sessions and the ones waiting for you in a small pill at the top of the screen.
• The bottom of the sidebar shows your account, with a menu for Settings, Usage, language, help and signing out. Settings also opens with ⌘, (Ctrl+, on Windows).
• Approval cards say where they stand among all the approvals of a turn, also when they come one at a time.

Fixes

• Dialogs and popups no longer draw blurry text.
• Clicking a session in the island opens it, even when Customize or a comparison is on screen.
• A row's ⋯ no longer stays visible after you click a folder.
• The counts in the sidebar's top rows line up.
• English terms in uppercase labels keep their letters in the Turkish interface.

Look

• A line separates the sidebar from the chat.
